Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using AliasHub's domain alias services.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of AliasHub's website, products, and services ("Services"). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. Definitions

Throughout these Terms, the following definitions apply:

  • "AliasHub", "we", "us", "our": Refers to AliasHub and its affiliates.
  • "User", "you", "your": Refers to the individual or entity using our Services.
  • "Services": Refers to all products, services, and websites provided by AliasHub.
  • "Content": Refers to text, graphics, images, music, software, audio, video, information, or other materials.
  • "Alias": Refers to the custom domain name or shortcut created through our Services.

2. Account Registration

To access certain features of our Services, you must register for an account. When creating an account, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain and promptly update your account information
  • Maintain the security of your password and accept all risks of unauthorized access
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
  • Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account

You must be at least 13 years old to use our Services. If you are under 18, you must have your parent or guardian's permission to use our Services.

3. Services Description

AliasHub provides a domain alias service that allows users to create custom, memorable shortcuts (aliases) for websites. Our Services include:

  • Creation and management of domain aliases
  • Browser extensions for alias resolution
  • Mobile applications for alias resolution
  • Web-based interface for alias management

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of our Services at any time, with or without notice.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to misuse the AliasHub Services. For example, you must not, and must not attempt to, use the Services to:

  • Violate any applicable law, regulation, or legal obligation
  • Infringe upon or violate our intellectual property rights or the intellectual property rights of others
  • Harass, abuse, insult, harm, defame, slander, disparage, intimidate, or discriminate based on gender, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity, race, age, national origin, or disability
  • Submit false or misleading information
  • Upload or transmit viruses or any other type of malicious code
  • Spam, phish, pharm, pretext, spider, crawl, or scrape
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of our Services
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our Services or related systems or networks

Prohibited Content: You may not use our Services to create aliases for websites that contain:

  • Illegal content or content that promotes illegal activities
  • Malware, spyware, or other malicious software
  • Phishing or fraudulent sites
  • Adult content, pornography, or sexually explicit material
  • Hate speech, harassment, or threats of violence
  • Spam or unsolicited commercial content

We reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, or remove content at our sole discretion.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

Our Rights: All rights, title, and interest in and to the Services (excluding Content provided by users) are and will remain the exclusive property of AliasHub and its licensors. Our Services are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

Your Rights: You retain all rights to any Content you submit, post, or display on or through our Services. By submitting Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, host, store, reproduce, modify, and create derivative works for the purpose of providing and improving our Services.

Trademarks: The AliasHub name and logos are trademarks of AliasHub and may not be copied, imitated, or used without our prior written consent.

6. User Content

You are solely responsible for the Content you create through our Services, including the aliases you register and the websites they point to. You represent and warrant that:

  • You have all necessary rights to the Content you submit
  • The Content does not violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • The Content does not infringe upon any third-party rights
  • The Content is not harmful, offensive, or otherwise objectionable

We do not pre-screen Content, but we have the right (but not the obligation) to refuse or remove any Content that violates these Terms.

7. Fees and Payment

Currently, AliasHub offers a free plan that allows users to create and manage aliases at no cost. We reserve the right to introduce paid plans or charge fees for certain features in the future. If we introduce paid services:

  • You will be notified of any fees before they are charged
  • Payment must be made by a valid payment method
  • Fees are non-refundable except as required by law
  • We may change our fees at any time by providing notice

8. Termination

You may stop using our Services at any time. You can delete your account through the account settings page.

We may suspend or terminate your access to our Services at any time for any reason, including if you violate these Terms. Upon termination:

  • Your right to use the Services will immediately cease
  • All aliases associated with your account may be deactivated
  • We may delete your Content and account information

All provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

OUR SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMISSIBLE PURSUANT TO APPLICABLE LAW, ALIASHUB DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT OUR SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED, OR THAT OUR SERVICES OR THE SERVER THAT MAKES THEM AVAILABLE ARE FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL ALIASHUB, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:

  • YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE THE SERVICES
  • ANY CONDUCT OR CONTENT OF ANY THIRD PARTY ON THE SERVICES
  • ANY CONTENT OBTAINED FROM THE SERVICES
  • UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS, USE, OR ALTERATION OF YOUR TRANSMISSIONS OR CONTENT

IN NO EVENT SHALL ALIASHUB'S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO ALIASHUB FOR THE SERVICES IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRIOR TO THE CLAIM.

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless AliasHub and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including without limitation reasonable attorney's fees and costs, arising out of or in any way connected with:

  • Your access to or use of our Services
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any third-party right, including without limitation any intellectual property right, or privacy right
  • Any claim that your Content caused damage to a third party

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

Governing Law: These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Dispute Resolution: Most disputes can be resolved without resort to litigation. You and AliasHub agree to use best efforts to settle any dispute, claim, question, or disagreement directly through consultation and good faith negotiations.

If we cannot resolve the dispute through negotiation, either party may submit the dispute to binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. Arbitration shall take place in Delaware and shall be conducted in English.

Notwithstanding the above, we may seek injunctive or other equitable relief to protect our intellectual property rights in any court of competent jurisdiction.

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. If we make changes, we will provide notice of such changes, such as by sending an email notification, providing notice through our Services, or updating the "Last Updated" date at the beginning of these Terms.

By continuing to access or use our Services after the modifications become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the new Terms, you must stop using our Services.
